23/11/11 ~ Championship Trophies

Hi Everyone,
in order to be able to purchase Championship Trophies could anyone who has made up a New Champion from the 1st of Nov 2010 till the 1st of Nov 2011 please notify Sandy or myself (to be put on the Club web Site) so that the club can include your dog for a Championship Trophy to be presented at the Pom Club Christmas Party on the 17th of December at the "Dogs NSW PR Committee Christmas Championbship Show" Trophies unfortunately cannot be posted but if you are not able to attend the Xmas Party then maybe someone can collect them for you, otherwise they will be held by the Club until they can be collected.

We hope to see as many of you as possible at the Xmas Party and we aim to make it a very pleasant evening show. This year the Club will be providing the food for the party to say thank you to you all for your outstanding support of the Club in the past year, so no need to bring a plate, just bring your own drinks. Hope you can all come along and enjoy the fun.

22/03/2011 ~ THE Pomeranian Club of NSW would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the family and friends, in particular Clare St John, of our Vice President and Trophy Steward, Diana Rowe, who passed away recently after a long battle with cancer. We would like to advise that her funeral is to be held on Thursday the 24th of March at 11am St Stephen Anglican Church, High Street, Penrith. Diana had requested that black NOT be worn at the celebration of her life.

02/08/2010 ~ AGM NEWS: The AGM is over and our Executive and Committee remain mostly the same. We do have a new

Treasurer, Assistant Trophy Steward, a couple of new Committee Members and new Patrons. All changes/additions will be

published just as soon as I have all the information.

The Amendment to allow Proxy Voting was also passed and is now an acceptable form of voting for the Pomeranian Club of NSW.

25/02/2010 ~ VALE : It is with sadness I have to report the passing of my first champion Ch Dubalbow Hollywood.

Holly was 10 years of age. She lived with our friend Mrs Gaile Hart for the last 5 years, who is also a member of the Pom Club.

She will be greatly missed by Gaile.

Hollys brother, Ch Dubalbow Viva Las Vegas, is owned by Pompillon Kennels, the Cavanaghs.

Their father was Margaret Munro's Jabra boy.

So sleep sweet Holly, you will be missed. Gaile, Diana and Clare.

24/11/2009 ~ THE POM SHOW is now over and what a wonderful show it was. The prizes were shared amongst some absolutely lovely Poms and their owners/handlers. We had a scrumptious meal afterwards which we thank the contributors for.....yummy slices and sandwiches including Megan's famous Passionfruit Slice, refreshing fruit platters, chicken and some very tasty prawns which were peeled for us, thank you Tom! We can now look forward to our next Specialty Show which will be on the 4th of April, Easter Sunday 2010.

9/07/2009 ~ SPRING FAIR JUDGE: We now know our judge for Spring Fair this year. Her name is Olga Grin, she was born in Russia and you can read all about her here:

While her critique tells of her involvement with mostly large breeds, she has also been involved with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
